TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern all memberships at Eagles Gym / Volkz Jiujitsu Academy 2.0 (hereafter “Eagles Gym”). By signing up for a membership, you agree to abide by the following:

1. MEMBERSHIPS & FEES

  • Membership fees are payable in advance (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or annually depending on plan).
  • Memberships are non-transferable.
  • No refunds are provided except under special circumstances (see Section 5).

2. PAYMENT DETAILS

  • All payments are processed via our nominated system (GymMaster / Ezidebit).
  • Failed or missed payments may incur administration fees.
  • Annual members may receive a discount if paid upfront.

3. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS & SUSPENSIONS

  • A minimum of 4 weeks’ written notice is required for cancellations.
  • Memberships may be suspended for medical reasons with supporting documentation, or for travel longer than 2 weeks with prior notice.
  • If cancelling within a contracted period (if applicable), partial charges may still apply.

4. RISK & LIABILITY

  • Participation in martial arts, wrestling, jiujitsu, boxing, and all gym activities carries inherent risks.
  • Members acknowledge and accept the risk of injury and agree that Eagles Gym, its owners, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or loss of property.
  • A signed waiver form is required for all participants.

5. REFUNDS & CREDITS

  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind or lack of attendance.
  • Partial refunds or credits may be issued only in exceptional cases (serious injury, relocation, or gym error).
  • Any approved credit is valid for future use within 12 months.

6. CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Respectful behaviour is expected towards coaches, staff, and fellow members at all times.
  • Misconduct, abuse, bullying, or dangerous behaviour may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
  • Members must follow the instructions of coaches during training.

7. FACILITIES & SAFETY

  • Members must use equipment safely and return it after use.
  • Gym areas (mats, weights, boxing bags) must be kept clean and free of hazards.
  • No shoes are allowed on mats.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian outside class times.

8. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Eagles Gym may use photos/videos taken during classes and events for promotional purposes unless a member opts out in writing.

9. PRIVACY & DATA

Personal details collected are for membership administration only and will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.

10. AGREEMENT

By signing up, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
